CHANGING YOUR BOOKING

CANCELLATION POLICY
In accordance with Article L121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, customers are reminded that they do not have the right of withdrawal, as provided for in Article L.121-20 of the French Consumer Code, when services are provided on a specific date or during a specific period. The cancellation conditions and their implementation are linked to the rates applicable to the booking and will be specified at the time of online purchase. Any failure by the Customer to show up at the hotel or ‘No Show’ (reservation not cancelled - customer not present) shall constitute cancellation of the entire reservation, resulting in the release of the reserved night(s) and automatically entailing the total amount of the reserved stay, i.e. all nights and extras reserved, without any right to reimbursement for the customer. In the event of interruption of the stay, the full price of the stay previously booked may be charged, or in some cases a ‘credit note’ corresponding to the unused portion of the stay may be offered to the Customer. I acknowledge that I have read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before placing my order. Therefore, by placing an order, I fully agree to the Collège Hôtel's GTC and accept all of their provisions without reservation.
FORCE MAJEURE
The management of the Collège Hôtel considers force majeure to be any event beyond the control of the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable and prevents the hotelier or the customer from fulfilling all or part of the obligations set out in the contract. This shall apply in particular in the event of a general transport strike (upon presentation of proof), a hotel staff strike, bad weather, riots and attacks, etc. It is expressly agreed that force majeure shall suspend the performance of the parties' reciprocal obligations. At the same time, each party shall bear the cost of all expenses incurred as a result of the force majeure event: consequently, travellers shall bear the sole responsibility for any additional costs that may be incurred in order to continue the journey.
DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, amended by Law No. 2016-1321 of 7 October 2016 for a ‘Digital Republic’ and in the context of compliance with the GDPR, which came into force on 25 May 2018, customers are advised that their order must be processed by name and by computer in order to be completed.
If customers refuse to provide their data, Collège Hôtel will be unable to process the booking and will be forced to cancel it, without this constituting a refusal to sell without legal basis. Collège Hôtel will therefore be released from any liability in this regard.
As the data controller, Collège Hôtel collects and processes personal data for the purposes of managing bookings and customers, for billing and payment purposes, and to carry out its commercial activities and satisfaction surveys. The data is intended for Collège Hôtel and its service providers.
